Ports of Modbus
Carry on configuring the PLC by finishing the Modbus ports configuration. To admittance the configuration of Modbus port:
1. Press Modbus Ports in the Configuration dialog box of PLC. The dialog box shows.
2. Choose the suitable settings for every port.
3. Change from port to port by pressing the Prev Port or Next Port buttons.
4. Save amends to all ports by pressing OK. To ignore changes and go back to the dialog box of PLC Configuration, press Cancel.
Ports of ASCII
Once you have finished configuration of the Traffic Cop, then the next step is to construct the ports of ASCII. Nevertheless, several processors do not comply ASCII messages. If you do not observe the button of ASCII Ports on the right side of the dialog box PLC Configuration, it means the processor does not support ASCII messages.
Below is the instruction to access the dialog box of ASCII Ports:
1. Press ASCII Ports in the dialog box of PLC Configuration. The dialog box of ASCII Ports shows.
2. Choose the suitable settings for every port.
3. Transfer from port to port by pressing the Prev Port or Next Port buttons.
4. Save amends to all ports by pressing OK. To ignore changes and go back to the dialog box of PLC Configuration, press Cancel.
Default settings for each port are:
• Stop Bits: 1
• Data Bits: 8
• Keyboard Device: Yes
• Baud Rate: 1200
• Parity: Even
Ports of Micro Modbus
The ports of Modbus for controllers of Micro-984 are constructed with the PLC Configuration dialog establish under the PLC Utilities menu. According to the chosen mode such as Single, Parent, or Child, the Port Configuration will modify. This configuration is as well as the setup of communication for the ports are available by click on the dialog button of "Modbus Ports".
