Programmable Controllers of Toshiba’s S2E/S2T are small, programmable controllers with modular type appropriate for easy relay substitute all the technique to complicated applications control. The S2E or S2T are third generation CPUs of T2 Series utilized with power supplies, I/O, and V-Series racks. The S2E or S2T offers an economical, functional, and compacted solution to a large range of applications in machine control, automotive, and systems of process control.
High Speed Processing
The S2E/S2T controllers excel at applications where high speed processing is required.
• Instruction of Contact: 0.11 μs; 0.09 μs
• Instruction of Coil: 0.22 μs; 0.18 μs
• Instruction of Transfer: 0.65 μs; 0.54 μs
• Addition 16-bit: 1.08 μs; 0.90 μs
Compatible T-Series
The tool of programming for the S2E/S2T is the Windows based programming software of T-PDS MS. Any program of T-Series can be opened and work without any conversion of program. Any software of SCADA, OIS, or HMI used with the T-Series is also well-matched.
Storage of Comment in CPU
The tag of device/register and comment can be saved in the CPU memory of S2E/S2T. Comments and tags can be seen in the on-line mode with no contact to the original program. Trouble shooting, debugging, and editing is a lot simpler at the installation if comments and tags are viewable.
The S2E/S2T has a serial communications port of RS485 on the module of CPU. There are 2 modes, one of them is selectable; free ASCII mode or computer link mode. Software of MMI/OIS, SCADA can join to the CPU in the computer link mode a higher level controller. The programming software of T-PDS can also join in this mode for remote programming. In the mode of free ASCII the CPU can correspond with devices that have a easy ASCII protocol such as Toshiba ASDs, T1 PLCs, barcode readers, etc.
Large Program Memory
Both CPUs of S2E & S2T have program memory 32k steps. This lets program making without any concern for memory limitations. Non-volatile memory flash is utilized for storage of permanent program. Significant register values can also be saved in memory flash.
Functions of Debug Support
The S2E and S2T recommend a lot of valuable functions of online debug for example coil force, input force, status latch, sample trace &data set.
Sample Trace: This function records the devices state on-off or values in registers over a user specific gap when a user specified condition is started. The recorded data can be seen as a chronological trend graph or exported as a file of *.csv.
Status Latch: This function latches the devices on/off state or values in lists when a customer identified situation is started.
