This menu item lets you to watch and adjust operations of PLC while online. Follow the steps below to access PLC Operations:
1. Press PLC Operations from the menu of Diagnostics or Alt+D, P. The dialog box of PLC Operations shows.
2. You will observe Memory Protection, Processor Status, and Login Status on the left side. The right side includes some option buttons which are explained below.
• Start: Press Start and a warning message will be showed requesting if you want to locate the processor in run mode. Press Yes to put the processor in run mode. Then it will be disabled.
• Stop: Push Stop and a warning message will be showed requesting to put the processor in stop mode. Press Yes to put the processor in stop mode. Then it will be disabled.
• Debug: Push Debug and a warning message will be showed requesting to put the processor in debug mode. Press Yes to put the processor in debug mode. Then it will be disabled.
• Optimize: Push Optimize and a warning message will be showed requesting to put the processor in optimize mode. Press Yes to put the processor in optimize mode. Then it will be disabled.
• Login: Push Login and a warning message will be showed requesting to login to the processor. Press Yes to login to the processor. If PLC WorkShop is logged into the processor, then it will be disabled.
• Logout: Push Logout and a warning message will be showed requesting if you desire to logout from the processor. Press Yes to logout from the processor. If PLC WorkShop does not logged into the processor, then Logout is depressing. If you do not logged on to the processor an automatic log on will be cracked by those functions needed.
3. Press Close to end the box of PLC Operations and go back to the active logic program.
