Hot Redundancy Systems of PACSystems RX7i Controllers and Series 90-70

The systems of Hot redundancy are supported only on PACSystems RX7i Controllers and Series 90-70. 2 units are set up and constructed equally in redundancy systems. The other unit supposes responsibility without the entire system interrupting operation if one unit be unsuccessful or is taken offline.
There are 3 hot redundancy systems types of:
• Redundancy of Basic CPU
• Redundancy of Genius
• Redundancy of Over Genius CPU

Redundancy of Basic Hot CPU
A target of single Logic Developer PLC is related with two physical of Controllers, a Primary and a Secondary to implement redundancy of basic hot CPU. Both Controllers contribute to the similar logic, but each has its own Configuration of Hardware: Primary or Secondary. The selected Configuration of Hardware is that you can go online with, upload from, download to, and so on. Three redundancy of basic CPU types are available. These systems of redundancy can be utilized in combination with schemes of Genius redundancy.
• Preferred Master Single Bus for Series 90-70 CPUs CGR935 and CGR772 only: utilizes a single bus of Genius with one or more Controllers bus in each Controller. The unit of primary is always selected as the active unit when the units synchronize initially.
• Floating Master Single Bus for PACSystems RX7i and Series 90-70: utilizes a single bus of Genius with one or more Controllers bus in each Controller. Without switchover happens on first synchronization to build the primary active unit.
• Floating Master Dual Bus for PACSystems RX7i and Series 90-70: utilizes dual busses with one or more Controllers bus in each Controller. Without switchover happens on first synchronization. Bus Switching Modules are necessary in compliance with a dual bus network configuration. This alternative offers redundancy of both the Genius bus and the CPU.

Redundancy of Genius
A redundancy of Genius system includes copy components that are constructed to maintain the operating of Genius system properly even if one duplicate component not passes or is out of service. The systems of Genius redundancy can be utilized in combination with redundancy systems of Series 90-70 and PACSystems RX7i CPU.

Redundancy of Hot CPU Over Genius
A Redundancy of CPU Over Genius system includes copy components that are constructed to maintain the system operating properly if one of the copy components fails or is out of service. Five CPU Redundancy Over Genius systems types can be built upon a variety of types of redundancy Genius systems joint with the schemes of basic CPU Redundancy.
