The Node of WebAccess SCADA offers a serial interface to the Programmable PLC of Sharp New Satellite JW10 with the Computer Link.
Cabling and Wiring
There are 2 kinds of substantial connections to the PLC of Sharp JW10:
1. The Port of MMI, this is the technique tested for this manual.
2. 2-wire Communication Terminals of RS-422. This technique is not tested for this guide.
The Port of MMI
The Port of MMI is a 9-pin port of in front of the PLC. It is the technique tested for this guide. This is a PLC per com port (a one-to-one Link). This manual was experienced with a 9-pin to 9- cable pin labeled PC JW10/TP02. The Manual of Sharp User explains a wire from Sharp, the model is JW-12KC. It is a 9-pin to 25-pin cable.
2-wire Port of Communications
The Link of Computer can also be through the Port of Communication. This is a 2-wire, connection of RS-422A on the Model JW-1642K PLC Lower terminals. It is a multiple drop link, up to 63 PLCs per com port. This technique was not experienced for this guide. The JW-1624K Lower Terminals utilized for 2-wire RS-422 are marked SHLD, L1, and L2. The twisted pair of shielded is needed.
Settings of PLC
Port of MMI
The default settings (memory#226 = 00000000) are:
The Rate of Transfer = 19200
Address of PLC = 01
Length of Data = 7 bits
Bits Stop = 1
Parity = None
The subsequent settings of system memory are used to set Parity, Data Length, Stop Bit, and Rate of Transfer when using the MMI Port computer link mode.

Communications Port of 2-wire
The JW10 has a Communications port of two-wire for using the link of computer, remote IO or data link. This function is decided by memory of system #234:
#234 = 2 = Remote I/O Link
#234 = 1 = Data Link
#234 = 0 = Mode of Computer Link it is requisite by WebAccess.
System Memory#236 sets the specification Transfer for the Communications Port of 2-wire. The default settings (memory#236 = 00000000) are:
Length of Data = 7 bits
Bits Stop = 1
Parity = None
